Are you dreading or procrastinating about creating content? Creating content for your website or blog can be time-consuming. Consider carving out a period of time each week just to write. This could be an hour or two at a time that doesn’t interfere with other business.
Don’t get caught up in judging your writing or even editing – – – just write. You can start with some topic lists, then move into outlining a few of these topics, and finally flesh out the outlines. Set a goal of 2 or 3 topics that you feature in this set writing time.
Next, schedule an hour to come back to the topics you’ve written on to critically look at them. Edit as needed and polish. Make sure this time is again not interfering with busy times in your business. Also, do this on a completely different day from your writing day. Giving yourself time to let the articles “rest” means that you come back to them with a fresh eye.
Pass final edits onto a staff or team member after you run it past your own grammar check. If you don’t have a staff or team working with you a trusted friend or colleague can be a great resource. You can partner with them by reading and editing each others’ work.
It’s OK to get help from someone like Busy B Services. While we encourage you to write at least some of your own content, we can help you with crafting and editing content that works for you.
